airtel subscribers can get facebook notifications and facebook messages on their phones and can perform basic functionality like status update, send friend request, search friend etc through the SMS without internet.
To Subscribe
Start:
Send “FB” or “F” to 32665
Response: facebook Mobile Confirmation Code: XXXXXX Or Click here: http://m.facebook.com/
If you have a WAP enabled phone just click on the link sent and your subscription is complete. Else, Log on to your Facebook account via WEB, go to Account > Account Setting > Mobile and type in confirmation code. Once this is completed you will get a response.
To Turn off Facebook Texts, reply “stop”.
Reply “help” for other options.
To Unsubscribe
To terminate Facebook SMS subscription immediately. You are not allow send and receive at all.
Send OFF or stop to 32665
Response: Facebook texts are now off. Reply “on” to turn back on
